Opacity Monitors

Green Instruments currently provides a number of monitoring solutions which help our customers avoid fire and explosion hazards. Our G2000 Ambient Oil Mist Detector is a simple and efficient piece of equipment which detects oil mist in open spaces in for example engine rooms, pump rooms or other rooms with hydraulic aggregate pumps and transmission pipes under pressure. A variant of the G2000 Ambient Oil Mist Detector is the G2040, which is especially designed for the detection of oil mist in pressurized environments such as pressurized air pipes in the air compressor of a nitrogen generator. The G2040 monitors oil mist inside the compressor’s pipe, thus protecting the nitrogen generator from highly cost damage of the membrane due to oil contamination.

Furthermore, we offer the G2100 Combustible Dust Monitor that is designed to measure the dust concentration in cargo hull spaces and in other factory facilities, grain mills, etc. The system both has a visual and an audio alarm that reacts on the predetermined dust concentration. Oxygen Analyzers for Inert Gas

Green Instruments is among the market leaders in regards to oxygen analyzers for inert gas systems.  Inert gas refers to gas containing a low content of oxygen and is used to fill the void spaces in and around tanks for explosion protection.
