G36 Oxygen Analyzer Achieves Type Approvals

Green Instruments' newly developed oxygen analyzers, the G36 stand alone and the G36p panel mounted analyzers, have received the product type approvals from BV, Lloyd's Register and DNV.
The new oxygen analyzers have also achieved the Marine Equipment Directive's (MED) approval under the new heading, A 1/3.54, for fixed oxygen analyzers.
The A 1/3.54 heading for fixed oxygen analyzers was implemented in the MED regulations at the end of July 2009. This means that the MED approval is mandatory for all fixed oxygen analyzers installed on European flagged ships "where equipment which was previously carried on board the ship is replaced".
These new analyzers offer various extra advantages such as interface via touchscreen, galvanically separated and stronger analog signal, new improved sensor, trend graph display, data logging and optional pressure compensation.
