GI Receives Diploma from the Danish Maritime Fund 25-11-2011
On 23 November 2011, the Danish Minister for Business and Growth, Ole Sohn, awarded eight Danish companies, who have received support from the Danish Maritime Fund in 2011, with a diploma.
Green Instruments and Danfoss IXA, represented by Poul Kodal Sørensen and Henrik Gedde-Moos, received a diploma for their CO2 monitoring project. The goal is to create an efficient, reliable, and durable instrument that can measure emissions directly in the vessels smoke stacks.
The diploma was presented at Christiansborg Palace at a growth conference held by "Det Blå Danmark".
The companies will implement Danfoss IXA's breakthrough sensor technology in a platform from Green Instruments. By combining the platform and new measuring technology, the two companies have an extremely robust product, which can measure the emission og CO2 and nitrous gases onboard vessels. The solution is especially designed for usage in harsh environments and it is easy to install.
